Time, Talents and Gifts

Mark Bertrang believes that we all have gifts that are meant to be shared. Unfortunately, many people leave their gifts unopened and unused.

You may run into Mark during the Christmas season ringing a Salvation Army kettle bell while singing holiday songs outside a local grocery store; or you could find Mark giving some of his time on Wednesday evenings during the school year, serving as an adult leader for his church's senior high youth group.

Mark has also traveled on multiple youth mission trips around the country to scrape and paint houses, do yard work or help with programs for young children. He has also participated with church
mission projects working with students from the Republic of South Korea.

A special concern to Mark is the misunderstanding of Mental Illness and how it silently affects the lives of families. He has participated in the National Association of Mental Illness 'family–to–family' education program and has incorporated its message into his practice when dealing with families who have children with special needs.

You may have also seen Mark narrate programs for the Coulee Region Gospel Choir.
